ntfsfix \- fix common errors
.SH SYNOPSIS
.B ntfsfix

.SH DESCRIPTION
\fBntfsfix\fP is a utility that fixes some common NTFS problems.
\fBntfsfix\fP is \fBNOT\fP a Linux
version of chkdsk. It only repairs some fundamental NTFS inconsistencies and
resets the NTFS journal file.

You may run
.B ntfsfix
on an NTFS volume if you think it's damaged and it can't be mounted.
